Step by Step Guide

2 Fold Research: Gather sources from scholarly articles and conduct surveys on visual impairment diseases. Retrieve data on the current knowledge that people have on the topic. Then, investigate ways in which we can help improve existing literature regarding the topic. Next, brainstorm ways in which we can improve the visual experience for someone is impaired. Lastly, develop a digital deliverable that illustrates the idea. Create a product that can easily be understood by children.

Pre-Planning

This is the breakdown on some of the mechanics and behind the scenes of the why part of the project. Since it also includes a digital deliverable, it is important that the message and process is loud and clear for the audience.

Below, there are also some more supplimental documents that help explain the why for the project. Also, a timeline that details the projected time of completion.

Throughout the project there were a few issues that presented themselves. This was mainly on the side of the final product. There were software problems that made creating a solid deadline and timeline difficult.

Key Takeaway

Ultimately, this was a fun and fulfilling project. However, If given the opportunity to do it again, I would definitely bring on collaborators versus attempting to complete everything myself. The sheer amount of research that was required made it difficult to adhere to the proper deadlines. In addition to this, facturing in potential software issues and other roadblocks put a serious strain on myself.

Ultimately the learning outcomes were met and I enjoyed the learning process.
